Project manager (M/F/X)
An economic and social development tool serving Charleroi and its region, MIREC – meaning the Regional Mission for Integration and Employment in Charleroi – was officially created on January 18, 1991. Since then, thirty years have passed. Thirty years marked by the double sign of the constant search for new avenues of action in favor of vulnerable people and a success which has inspired many initiatives in Wallonia. In thirty years, the Regional Mission for Integration and Employment in Charleroi has initiated or put into practice numerous measures to achieve its objective. It has also constantly sought new avenues, alternative tools likely to improve the integration process of a disadvantaged public, often on the fringes of traditional sectors (www.mirec.net)
Today, MIREC can count on its team of more than 60 employees to help achieve its objectives. Among them, a majority of project managers whose general mission is to implement actions, collective or individual, of integration and support, for beneficiaries who are primarily addressed to them by FOREm, the operators of the system (people registered as job seekers at FOREM) and/or by favoring actions developed based on the needs of companies.
Support and integration actions consist of
insert beneficiaries into sustainable, quality employment by relying on professional training actions implemented by training operators as part of a partnership with the MIRE, alternating training in companies and in training centers and not exceeding a duration of three hundred and sixty-five days;
support beneficiaries in their active job search by using, in particular, the “Jobcoaching” methodology, modeled by the MIRE, for a maximum period of three hundred and sixty-five days until integration into sustainable, quality employment. In this context, the MIRE offers the beneficiary the services and logistical supports necessary for their professional integration and, if necessary, integrates into these the educational support of a springboard job.
